Q. When will my plant be delivered?
We deliver Monday, Wednesday & Friday.
If you order before 10am we can offer same day service.
Our plants are generally delivered between midday - 5pm on the date requested in your order form.
Occasionally we run a little later (up to 5.30pm) if the traffic is heavy, or we have delivery delays.
We will often do a small morning run too, depending on our schedule for the day.
Feel free to contact us to check on the ETA (delivery time), and we can give you you a roundabout estimate.
*We ALWAYS ensure workplace/office deliveries are delivered before “Close Of Business”.
Q. Can I order from interstate or overseas?
Absolutely! Many of our customers order from interstate and around the world to send thoughtful gifts to family, friends, clients and colleagues in Perth. Our easy online ordering makes it simple to send beautiful plant gifts, with free delivery to over 140 Perth suburbs and same-day delivery available when you order before 10am. Q. Where does Plants For Friends deliver?
We deliver FOR FREE within a 20km radius of Bicton. This includes over 140 suburbs in Perth! If you are unsure if we can deliver to the suburb you require, please check with us prior to ordering. there is always an extra charge for any suburb not on our list. This extra charge is to cover our couriers for extra time and fuel.
Q. Do you deliver to hospitals, aged care homes and universities?
Yes! We deliver to homes, hospitals, aged care homes, workplaces, offices, schools, universities, cafés, restaurants, hotels, event venues and many other locations across Perth. If you're sending a gift to someone special, we'll ensure it arrives safely and beautifully presented. If you're unsure whether we can deliver to a particular location, get in touch via email, text, or our contact form.
Q. What is the delivery fee if my suburb is not on the list?
If your chosen suburb is not on our list of Perth suburbs (found on the ‘Delivery’ tab on our main menu), you should contact us prior to ordering to find out if we can deliver for you. We may be able to deliver there for an extra charge.
Please check our delivery areas before placing your order. If you order for a suburb that is not on our delivery list without contacting us first, and we cannot deliver there, we will refund your order minus any transaction and processing fees.
Q. What if the plant I want is not pictured?
A. Our plants and pots are subject to availability and our products are updated regularly when they sell out or are no longer available due to seasonal availability. We promote all new products, plants, and packages on our social media and in our newsletters. If you do have a special request, please contact us and we will see how we can help you.
Can I build my own gift set?
Yes! Many of our plants, pots and gift items can be purchased individually, allowing you to create your own personalised gift. Simply add your chosen items to your cart and we'll send them as a set.
Which plants are best for beginners?
Some of our easiest-care favourites include ZZ Plants, Hoyas, Snake Plants, Pothos, Monsteras, Peace Lilies and Heart Leaf Philodendrons. If you're not sure which plant to choose, we'd love to help you find one to suit your home, lifestyle and experience.
Which plants are pet friendly?
We have a lovely range of pet-friendly plants, including favourites such as Hoyas, Parlour Palms, Orchids, Spider Plants and selected ferns. If you're shopping for a home with curious cats or dogs, just let us know and we'll recommend suitable options.
Will my plant look exactly like the photos?
Plants are living things, so each one is beautifully unique. Size, shape and colour may vary slightly depending on the season and availability, but we'll always select a healthy, high-quality plant that's as close as possible to the photos. Every plant is beautifully presented with thoughtful attention to detail.
Q. How do I send a card message with my gift and will it be wrapped?
A. Plants For Friends provides a stylish botanical gift card with every delivery. You can add your card message in a special section in checkout. We wrap our potted plants in botanical paper and we encourage you to re-use the wrap! All plants come complete with ribbons and gift card.
Q. How will my plant/my friend's plant survive?
A. This is the big question... we provide care instructions with every plant as all plants have different needs. We are nature-lovers to the core and want our plants to survive for years to come. So, we provide pots with drainage, potting mix with slow release fertiliser, diatomaceous earth for pest control and helpful care tips.
Q. Does Plants For Friends have colourful pots?
A. We adhere to a neutral aesthetic, so our potted plants are able to fit in to most settings. We generally pot in white, green,cream, soft pink or grey, unless otherwise stated in the product description. All pots have drainage/plugs/bases. Cover pots will always have drainage on the inner pot (nursery pot). If you have a special request for a pot colour or a particular aesthetic for bulk corporate orders, contact us prior to placing your order- we may be able to help!
Q. What if my friend isn't home for delivery?
A. Please include all helpful delivery instructions in the notes section at checkout so we can complete a safe and timely delivery. We especially appreciate details such as: locked gates, apartment access instructions, dogs on the property, difficult-to-find addresses, or safe shady spots to leave the plant.
If we experience an issue during delivery, we will always try to contact the sender or recipient first by phone/text before arranging a re-delivery. For this reason, we ask for at least one LOCAL phone number where possible so we can quickly troubleshoot issues on the spot.
If the recipient is not home, we will always do our best to leave the gift in a safe place. If there is nowhere safe to leave the plant, or we are unable to access the property/building, a re-delivery fee will apply for delivery on the next available delivery day.
Once a gift has been delivered, photographed, and delivery confirmation has been sent, Plants For Friends is not responsible or liable for any lost or stolen items.

Q. What if I made a mistake with my order or change my mind and want a refund?
We do not offer full refunds, as we are charged transaction fees. Please ensure you have contacted us prior to ordering if you are unsure about your delivery options to avoid this.
Q. What if there is a problem with the plant?
We need to be contacted within one week if there is an issue with an item ordered. Photo proof and explanation is required for us to troubleshoot.

Alcohol Purchases and Delivery
Alcohol may only be purchased by customers aged 18 years or over. By purchasing a product containing alcohol, the purchaser confirms that they are at least 18 years old. Alcohol will not be supplied or delivered to a person under 18 years of age. Proof of age may be requested where required.
