Zerascapes- North Freo - they do amazing installs and have such a great healthy range of succulents - small and advanced- in their fully outdoor nursery. They will also give top advice on garden design. Love this place. Apace Nursery- North Freo - a brilliant range of young native stock (no advanced plants). Such great prices if you’re ready to support the local birds and bees in Perth with a native garden Dawson’s Swanbourne/O’Connor - amazing range of roses and more - and the friendliest/most-patient staff ever Grandview Nursery- Wanneroo- check their open days before you make the drive- great indoor- jungle plant stock, fruit trees and more, and a lovely helpful owner John Cole Nursery- Banjup- another drive out of town, but an amazing range of outdoor garden features, fruit trees, advanced plants and indoor jungle trinkets. This place has some quirky and fun and stylish items in their indoor garden shop too. Wattleup Nursery- great range of advanced plants, advanced succulents and more. Oohhhh and close to a pick-your-own-strawberries farm. Maybe combine the two in an outing? Bloomin’ Good Succulents- Wanneroo- this family-owed business is soo worth a visit for mini/advanced succulents and more. The friendliest and most helpful staff and owners, and you’ll definitely want to fill up a crate with ALL the colourful cacti/succulents to take home. They will welcome you like old friends! Blooming Nursery- Jandabup- a huge nursery with many sections - so many large Umbrellas/Fiddles/Fruit Tree/ Palms and more. Sometimes they have fresh fruit for sale too. Great staff. Zanthorrea Nursery- Maida Vale- this is a gift shop and nursery combined- lovely welcoming owners and a great range if you’re up in the Perth hills. They have lots to look at including a frog hotel and heaps of native flowering plants. The Bird and Fish place is close by too and worth a visit. Go for a bushwalk and coffee in the beautiful hills while you’re there and make it a the perfect nature-lovers day out! Landsdale Plants - Darch- Go here for a huuuge range of indoor and outdoor plants, and helpful, friendly staff. If you need to fill up your outdoor garden, head here for hedges, shrubs, natives and more. Ezi-Gro orchids - Darch- go here at the right time of year (not mid summer) and you’ll see a glorious range of orchids. Ask the staff for tips on how to care for them and grab one for you and a friend! Worth a visit for the pretty flower scenery! Now, these next two aren’t close to Perth but they’re worth a mention in the list of favourites - add them to your down-south itinerary: Owy’s Graden in Busselton- these guys aren’t just hilarious, they’re’ passionate and fun, and know EVERYTHING about their plants. Amazing space. LOVE. GO THERE. Check their opening hours first. The Cactus Factory in Albany - go here to enjoy very pretty and colour co-ordinated views of a HUGE range of succulents - if you’re lucky, you’ll meet the most wonderful owner/operator- she created the whole place dreamy place herself.
